The incident in which Left Jiazhang and others framed Lan Chen was actually orchestrated by Yuan Ge, who had earned Lan's mother's trust. Yuan Ge, in collaboration with Gu Qianqian, conspired against Lan Chen. Although this incident exceeded Yuan Ge's expectations, he achieved his goal, and Bu Zhengjing harbored resentment towards Jin Xi'er.
