Jin Xi'er asked Lan Chen to take good care of himself, eat on time, and Liang Huaishi coincidentally showed up. To avoid Lan Chen seeing the twins, Liang Huaishi offered to take Jin Xi'er home and dropped her off.
Ling Feng went to Jin Xi'er's home to please her mother, telling her that Jin Xi'er had secretly admired him for a long time and that he was willing to be like a son to her.
