No matter how prestigious a job may seem, over time, it inevitably breeds monotony.

Meanwhile, thanks to He Xiaoli’s loud gossip, nearly everyone at the company was convinced that Xiuya was involved with a financial tycoon and pregnant. Zheng Hao met his blind date, Wang Yao, who seemed like a perfect match for him, but Zheng Hao felt no spark with her. When Xiuya returned to Zhonghe to handle social security transfer paperwork, she noticed her former colleagues whispering about her. Pang Jing eventually revealed that they had misunderstood her relationship with Xu Yunfeng.
Frustrated, Xiuya went to the new company where she was about to start and asked if they would be open to her performing stand-up comedy in her free time. The answer was no, leaving her unemployed once again. To clear up the rumors, Xiuya asked Pang Jing to gather their former colleagues at Banghe. Using her witty and humorous stand-up routine, she explained the entire situation. For the first time, she earned Hu Jianjun’s friendly acknowledgment and approval.
Although Xu Yunfeng wanted to take his relationship with Xiuya to the next level, she still resisted physical intimacy with him. Thanks to Xiao Lan’s efforts, they secured a national tour for stand-up performances, and Xiuya decided to join the tour.
