Wen Shuo grew up in the Eastern Palace, personally raised by the Crown Prince. He was the youngest top scholar in the Great Jing Dynasty and understood Han Ye's thoughts the best. Since the concubine selection banquet ended, anyone with keen eyes could see that Han Ye was feeling down, likely due to Ren Anle and Di Chengen. Later, Wen Shuo told Han Ye that the entire Zhong family had been wiped out, and the culprit was their servant, Zhong Hai. Wanted posters were now all over the city. However, Han Ye found it suspicious that the fire occurred in the middle of winter and suspected there might be hidden motives. On the other hand, Ren Anle asked Luo Mingxi to find Zhong Hai quickly, as Di Chengen's identity being exposed would ruin their plans. At that moment, Han Ye arrived at Lingxiang Tower and saw Ren Anle and Luo Mingxi privately discussing the matter of Zhong Hai. Feeling a hint of jealousy, he couldn't help but confront Luo Mingxi, who directly exposed that Han Ye was targeting him because of Ren Anle.

Her legs were pinned down by heavy objects and couldn't break free. Fortunately, Han Ye appeared just in time, bandaged her wounds personally, and tried to find a way or tool to escape.
