Han Zhongyuan personally summoned Ren Anle to apologize for the old case of the annihilation of the imperial family ten years ago. He admitted the mistakes of the Han family and promised that there would be no more suspicion between them as ruler and subject. Ren Anle accepted Han Zhongyuan's apology, and the Han and Di families finally reached a reconciliation. Moreover, she promised to help him find Han Ye.

On the other hand, Luo Mingxi's health was declining, and he was spitting blood more frequently, causing Lin Lang much distress. Ren Anle took the initiative to visit Luo Mingxi, still unaware of his true condition. Lin Lang wanted to speak up several times, but Luo Mingxi stopped her each time. After Lin Lang left, Ren Anle served Luo Mingxi medicine and realized that he had sacrificed too much for her over the years, which made her feel uneasy.

As there was still no sign of finding Han Ye's body, Han Zhongyuan firmly believed that his son was still alive in the world. He spread news of his own critical condition, hoping that Han Ye would appear. Indeed, Han Ye received the news and believed it was time to return to the capital. Since Mo Shuang had not been able to cure his eyes, there was no reason to stop him from leaving.

Upon returning to the capital, Han Ye immediately went to the palace to meet the emperor. Han Zhongyuan saw his son's blindness and assured him that he would find a royal physician to heal his eyes. The next day, Han Ye went out for a walk with Ji Li and unexpectedly encountered Jian Song, learning that he had been saved by Emperor Shengtian. Jian Song took Han Ye to see Emperor Shengtian, hoping that he would have a chance to cure Han Ye's eyes. Emperor Shengtian deliberately tested whether Han Ye would tell Ren Anle about his return but was rejected.

Even so, Emperor Shengtian informed Ren Anle and guided her to Fuling Mountain to meet Han Ye. Emperor Shengtian believed that Han Ye's eyes could still be cured with Changsi flowers as medicine, but it was too cold in the capital to grow them.

To stay by Han Ye's side, Ren Anle disguised herself as a mute serving girl, thinking it would help her pass unnoticed. However, her inexperienced tea-making skills were quickly seen through by Han Ye. Luo Mingxi visited Fuling Mountain to see Ren Anle and inquired about Han Ye's condition. They both prepared tea, but Luo Mingxi's tea-making skills were hundreds of times better than Ren Anle's.

Emperor Shengtian, impressed by the exquisite tea, brought some to Han Ye and asked if he wanted to see Luo Mingxi. But Han Ye was not ready yet. Just then, Wen Shuo rushed over and hugged Han Ye excitedly, delighted to see that he was alive but regretful that he couldn't protect him, resulting in his blindness. Han Ye harbored no resentment because Wen Shuo's arrival brought a smile to his face.

Ren Anle talked to Luo Mingxi about their childhood stories, mentioning Han Ye with a smile on her face. Seeing her deep affection, Luo Mingxi felt uncomfortable because he was the one who had been engaged to Ren Anle first. After returning to Lingxiang Tower, Luo Mingxi looked at the Changsi flowers and decided to protect them, hoping that if Han Ye's eyes recovered, Ren Anle would be happier. However, in the next moment, Luo Mingxi suddenly started coughing up blood and fainted. Lin Lang hurriedly administered acupuncture to him.
