Luo Mingxi had already exhausted all efforts and knew that his time was running out. He no longer held any hope, but Lin Lang persuaded him not to give up, firmly believing that they would find a way to cure him. Currently, Lin Lang was investigating Cold North and discovered that he had been demoted to a commoner and exiled to a remote border area after being defeated in battle, and they were still trying to find his whereabouts.

On the other hand, Ren Anle took meticulous care of Han Ye, but he deliberately made things difficult for her, hoping that she would stop being attached to him. However, Ren Anle never gave up and agreed to any request he made, even personally roasting fish for him. In response, Han Ye got angry and knocked the bowl and chopsticks to the ground.

Ren Anle quietly picked up the bowl and chopsticks and left. Even though Han Ye treated her this way, she would always stay by his side. That night, Han Ye got drunk, and Ren Anle patiently accompanied him and took care of him while he slept. She couldn't help but marvel at how the usually gentle Crown Prince could be so demanding. However, he couldn't bear to part with Ren Anle alone, but sadly, there were too many barriers between them.

Both Luo Mingxi and Ren Anle knew that if Cold North wasn't dealt with, he would become a lingering threat. To make Han Ye face his own feelings, they decided to spread the news of their upcoming marriage. When Han Ye heard the news of Ren Anle and Luo Mingxi's wedding, he felt somewhat uncomfortable. At that moment, Cold North suddenly appeared and attacked. Lin Lang protected Luo Mingxi and ended up dying in his arms. Devastated, Luo Mingxi vowed to personally capture Cold North and make him suffer forever, for he was no longer human but a monster consumed by power, feeling no guilt for Princess An Ning's death. As a result, Luo Mingxi ordered that Cold North be imprisoned and tortured in the dungeon.

Although Cold North's threat had been eliminated, Han Ye's vision was still a serious issue because they lacked the Changsi Flower as a medicinal catalyst. Fortunately, on the day Cold North was captured, the Changsi Flower finally bloomed, all thanks to Lin Lang's efforts, but sadly, she couldn't see how it looked.

Later, Luo Mingxi brought the Changsi Flower to visit Han Ye on Fuling Mountain, and they reminisced about the past with mixed emotions. Luo Mingxi told Han Ye that if he could, he should attend his and Ren Anle's wedding banquet. Han Ye declined but wished them a happy union. Meanwhile, with the help of Yuan Shu and Yuan Qin, Ren Anle tried on her wedding dress when she suddenly received news that Princess Di Shengtian had obtained the Changsi Flower, which surprised her greatly.
