The boat’s graceful lines mirrored the woman’s tranquil demeanor. The entire painting felt like a natural masterpiece, which delighted Luo Lingyu. It seemed that Lu Yun still had her in his heart. When Lu Yun heard that one of his paintings had been given to Luo Lingyu, he was furious.
He had specifically instructed his subordinates to choose something inexpensive, yet they had selected the painting. Luo Lingyu misunderstood Lu Yun’s feelings and began to think about her next steps. If she wanted to stay at the Lu residence long-term, she needed a careful plan. She realized that moving into Xuewu Yuan had upset many of the young women, so she decided to put some effort into improving her relationship with the Lu family’s sisters.
