Han Ziqing subdued the person, asking who they were. The person replied that they could take her to meet Prince An. Only then did Han Ziqing release them. The person explained that they were a veterinarian who had helped Prince An before, but it was very difficult to meet him. He asked Han Ziqing to agree to one condition. The person then asked if Han Ziqing had captured a child last night.

Realizing that they were accomplices, Han Ziqing still agreed, as she was eager to meet Prince An. However, because Prince An liked peace and quiet, the person suggested that Han Ziqing go alone. He gave a fan to a child at the gate, and sure enough, the gate opened, but the person ran away, leaving only his name, Baili Weisheng. He warned that if his junior brother wasn’t released, he would come back to settle the score with her.

Once inside the courtyard, Han Ziqing met with Prince An. He advised her to leave, but Han Ziqing pleaded for him to help Jun Beiyue. Upon hearing Jun Beiyue's name, Prince An became immediately concerned. After learning the full story, he agreed to step in and help defend Tianque, but only for one month—no longer than that.

Over on Liuxian Island, Jun Beiyue was being personally cared for by Old Gu, and the Lu family patriarch was providing him with the finest medicine. However, Su Ying had sinister intentions. She took advantage of a moment when Old Gu was discussing the quality of ginseng to secretly poison Jun Beiyue’s medicine! Late at night, Old Gu noticed that Jun Beiyue's condition had worsened and immediately sent Yingzi to find the Lu family patriarch.

Given the urgency, the Lu family matriarch didn’t hesitate and transferred her internal energy to Jun Beiyue, but she ended up spitting blood in the process. Old Gu and Yingzi were extremely grateful to the Lu family patriarch and his wife for their help, and they hoped even more that the prince would wake up soon. Meanwhile, Han Ziqing continued to train the military, even inviting Ouyang to serve as their mentor.

However, the King hadn’t given up and once again brought people to the Fourth Prince's mansion, disregarding Han Ziqing’s attempts to stop them. This time, Prince An intervened and blocked the King himself. The King was surprised to see Prince An and, feeling uneasy, left. Nonetheless, he couldn’t help but marvel at Han Ziqing's capabilities. Despite this, Han Ziqing couldn’t stop worrying about Jun Beiyue, so she decided to go to Liuxian Island.

Prince An promised to safeguard the Fourth Prince’s mansion. What Han Ziqing didn’t know was that Baili Weisheng and his junior brother had also boarded the ship, leaving Tianque with her. Jun Beiyue's condition began to improve, and after Old Gu’s diagnosis, he determined that the prince would wake up in no more than five days! Old Gu quickly sent Yingzi to relay the good news to the Lu family patriarch, who was overjoyed.

The patriarch shared his happiness with his wife, even saying that the future of the Lu family’s prosperity would depend on Jun Beiyue. However, the Lu family matriarch, still favoring her own children, felt uneasy hearing this. Su Ying also overheard her father’s intention to pass the family leadership to Nianbei (Jun Beiyue’s alias), and she realized that she had to act. Su Ying then reached out to Jiang Chen, and the two quickly conspired.

Jiang Chen somehow acquired blood spirit grass, claiming it would help his mother’s health. However, after sending it to the kitchen, it soon disappeared! Jiang Chen shifted the blame to the outsiders, and Mei Ting indeed found the blood spirit grass in Nianbei’s room. With the Lu family patriarch away, they demanded that Old Gu and Yingzi be locked up.

The Lu family matriarch wanted to intervene but, remembering her husband’s words from the other night, hesitated and tacitly allowed their actions. Later, Jiang Chen volunteered to take care of Nianbei, and the matriarch agreed. When Jiang Chen and Su Ying saw that Nianbei was about to wake up, they immediately forced more medicine on him! Jiang Chen even contemplated killing him!
