Han Ziqing finally arrived at the dock of Liuxian Island, but Commander Xu and his men immediately surrounded her. Han Ziqing explained that she was a guest of the Lu family manor, but the commander insisted that not just anyone could enter the manor unless they had a token of proof. Han Ziqing gave her subordinate a signal, and a bag of silver was thrown over.

Commander Xu's demeanor changed instantly, and he quickly prepared to take Han Ziqing to the manor. However, Jiang Chen suddenly appeared, scolding Commander Xu for bringing just anyone to the island and insisting that Han Ziqing could not enter. Han Ziqing asked for his identity, and Jiang Chen hesitated, unable to give a straight answer. She quickly guessed his status and even suggested he should change his surname to Lu.

Infuriated, Jiang Chen was about to lash out when the island's guards caught Baili Weisheng and his junior brother sneaking onto the island. Han Ziqing recognized them immediately, and Jiang Chen redirected his anger towards them. Han Ziqing intervened, warning Jiang Chen, even threatening to hit him. Sensing that Han Ziqing was not someone to be trifled with, Jiang Chen reluctantly backed down to avoid public embarrassment.

Han Ziqing wasn't going to let it go easily, though—she demanded that Jiang Chen apologize in person, which he did. Just as she was about to leave, Han Ziqing remembered that Baili Weisheng was still locked up, so she rescued him and his junior brother but made sure to warn him not to follow her again. Even before Han Ziqing reached the manor, word had already spread.

Jiang Chen complained about being bullied by Han Ziqing, but Lady Lu, knowing Han Ziqing’s identity, disregarded her children’s grumblings and went to greet her personally. After exchanging a few pleasantries, Han Ziqing immediately requested to see Nianbei (Jun Beiyue), not even stopping for tea. Upon seeing him again, Han Ziqing was filled with emotions, but she told herself not to cry. At that moment, Mei Ting barged in noisily, claiming she was there to seek justice for Jiang Chen.

Han Ziqing didn’t want things to get too ugly, but with Old Gu and Yingzi not by Nianbei's side and the others around having hidden agendas, she couldn’t help but intervene. Just then, Su Ying rushed in, frantically reporting that Steward Li was trying to kill the two prisoners, and now they were missing. As Han Ziqing was pondering this, Old Gu and Yingzi returned.

Old Gu immediately checked Nianbei’s pulse, while Yingzi explained all that had happened and how they had been falsely accused. Han Ziqing calmly analyzed the situation and, not wanting to cause too much of a scene, warned them but requested that Lady Lu give her a proper explanation. However, Mei Ting continued to make a fuss, and Han Ziqing, unable to hold back any longer, kicked her away. Lady Lu hurriedly apologized and then took everyone away.

Han Ziqing quickly turned her attention to Nianbei’s condition, and Old Gu reported that while his internal energy had recovered, the fact that he hadn’t woken up indicated he had been poisoned. The Lu family patriarch soon returned, and after hearing what had happened, he immediately banished Mei Ting and Jiang Chen to live at the foot of the mountain and punished Su Ying. The news quickly reached Han Ziqing, but she wasn’t surprised.

Old Gu noted that the only people in the manor who truly cared about the prince were the Lu family patriarch and Lady Lu. However, Lady Lu was too soft-hearted and easily influenced. Despite this, Old Gu still couldn’t figure out what poison Nianbei had been given. Han Ziqing, knowing that Baili Weisheng had been following her, stepped out of the room, and sure enough, Baili Weisheng appeared.

He gave her a medicine, and though Han Ziqing was skeptical, she took it back to Old Gu for use. At that moment, Mei Ting and Jiang Chen were complaining about the poor conditions at the foot of the mountain. Jiang Chen tried to convince Mei Ting to find a way to get rid of "those two people. "Old Gu tested Baili Weisheng’s medicine and discovered it could indeed counteract the poison, but there wasn’t enough of it.

He decided to search for more. Han Ziqing learned from Old Gu that Jun Beiyue could hear her speak, so she continued talking to him, hoping he could hear her. To her surprise, Jun Beiyue actually responded!
