Su Ying and Jiang Chen were drenched in cold sweat the moment they realized that Nianbei was actually the Fourth Prince, Jun Beiyue. As Jun Beiyue passed by them, he deliberately paused, picked up an apple from in front of them, and then walked away. Neither Su Ying nor Jiang Chen dared to even breathe. After Jun Beiyue took his seat, Han Ziqing asked if anyone was going to raise the bid further.

Xuanyuan Lige hadn’t given up yet and immediately raised the bid from 30,000 to 90,000. Jun Beiyue smiled lightly and raised the bid to an astounding 1,000,000. The entire audience was stunned by the enormous number, and Xuanyuan Lige didn’t seem interested in raising the bid any further. Just before the auction was finalized, Baili Weisheng suddenly appeared, loudly claiming that the value of the Sacred Tree’s seed far exceeded 1,000,000 taels.

Han Ziqing knew he was here to cause trouble again, so she asked if he was going to raise the bid. Baili Weisheng rambled on, but in the end, he only added one copper coin to the bid. Han Ziqing then asked the crowd if anyone wanted to raise the bid above 1,000,000 taels and one copper coin. To her surprise, neither Jun Beiyue nor Xuanyuan Lige raised their bids further, leaving Baili Weisheng in a panic.

Han Ziqing declared the auction closed and announced that all proceeds would be donated to Qinse Valley, thus leaving Baili Weisheng with a huge debt of 1,000,000 taels to the valley. Later, Han Ziqing was applying ointment on her own when Jun Beiyue came over to help, making her feel shy. Han Ziqing understood that Jun Beiyue’s bidding during the day was aimed at Xuanyuan Lige, but Jun Beiyue was more curious about the fool who appeared at the end.

Han Ziqing explained that he was a veterinarian who had helped with Prince An’s affairs and even with Jun Beiyue’s poisoning. She expressed her gratitude to him. Jun Beiyue immediately questioned her, and Han Ziqing realized he was jealous, so she thanked him for helping her apply the ointment. As Jun Beiyue stood up to leave, he said he would return the next day to help her again.

Meanwhile, Su Ying and Jiang Chen were completely panicked, as the matter of poisoning Jun Beiyue was far too serious. They began blaming each other but eventually decided to seek out the young master of the Bai family. The Bai family assured them that they were all in this together. Outside, Han Ziqing was playing the qin when Baili Weisheng appeared, wailing about the enormous debt he had signed for. Han Ziqing smiled without saying a word.

Soon after, Jun Beiyue arrived, and Baili Weisheng immediately turned his attention to him, but to no avail, and he left in frustration, blaming the entire debt on Han Ziqing. Knowing that Jun Beiyue was jealous, Han Ziqing noticed that he even refused to help her stand up. The two elders of Qinse Valley asked Xuanyuan Lige about Han Ziqing, having guessed that she might be connected to Mu Ci. Xuanyuan Lige confirmed that she was indeed his master’s daughter.

The two elders reminisced about Mu Ci, remembering how they had saved her years ago. Grateful, Mu Ci stayed on Liuxian Island and, with her natural talent for music, later became Xuanyuan Lige’s master. The elders always felt guilty toward Mu Ci, and now, with Xuanyuan Lige’s health in decline, they hoped to pass on the teachings of the Qu family to Han Ziqing. Xuanyuan Lige was pleased with this idea.

Meanwhile, Jun Beiyue and Han Ziqing ventured into a mysterious cave in the valley, where they saw many fireflies. Han Ziqing also discovered the natural sound of the world. To their surprise, Xuanyuan Lige appeared, explaining that the melody was from *Lishang*. It was only then that Han Ziqing realized there were more than ten volumes of *Lishang*.

Afterward, Xuanyuan Lige took Han Ziqing and Jun Beiyue to meet the two elders of Qinse Valley, who expressed their desire to keep Han Ziqing there. However, Han Ziqing declined, much to Jun Beiyue’s relief, as he was worried she might stay. Nonetheless, they knew they had to continue investigating *Lishang* because it was tied to Han Ziqing’s ability to return. Xuanyuan Lige, on the other hand, was facing tremendous pressure. Between the weight of restoring the kingdom and his feelings for Han Ziqing, even his nanny could see his inner conflict.
