Shiliang was hiding in a corner, gazing at Jun Beiyue’s handkerchief. From a distance, Lady Wan, Jun Beiyue’s mother, noticed her and approached with concern. Shiliang quickly explained that she had just forgotten to return the handkerchief and that her red eyes were due to sand getting in them—it would be better soon. Lady Wan mentioned that she wanted to know more about Jun Beiyue’s past and began asking Shiliang questions.

Shiliang, eager to chat, shared everything she knew, including details about Situ Xin’er. Lady Wan then showed Jun Beiyue her favorite hairpin, asking him to give it to Han Ziqing as a gift. She also said that she wanted to do something for him and suggested helping with the wedding arrangements. Hearing his mother say this made Jun Beiyue happy, so he went to find Han Ziqing. However, he didn’t understand what Han Ziqing was thinking.

From his perspective, she seemed to be avoiding him, and he began to believe that she didn’t love him. Without pressing her further, he chose to leave. Han Ziqing, too, felt conflicted and hurt. Jun Beiyue wandered by the river, drinking alone, lost in a haze. Han Ziqing knew all of this. Finally, she made up her mind.

Ignoring her shadow guard’s attempts to stop her, she went to find Jun Beiyue, snatched the wine from his hands, and drank it herself. Han Ziqing had stopped overthinking; at that moment, she just wanted to follow her heart and avoid future regrets. Jun Beiyue understood her feelings, and the two were finally together! The wedding preparations began quickly. Lady Wan took charge of arranging the invitations, and Shiliang was always by her side.

Lady Wan gave her the guest list to check for any omissions, and Shiliang immediately noticed a name that shouldn’t have been there—Jian’an City! Lady Wan praised Shiliang for her attention to detail and even gave her the bracelet she was wearing as a gift. The wedding arrangements proceeded smoothly. When Han Ziqing tried on her wedding dress, Jun Beiyue couldn’t take his eyes off her.

Jokingly, Han Ziqing said she wanted to change the dress to white, and Jun Beiyue playfully agreed. Once the wedding was fully prepared, Lady Wan expressed her joy at being able to see Jun Beiyue get married, even if she couldn’t partake in the traditional tea ceremony. Shiliang stayed by her side to comfort her. The wedding went smoothly, and after the ceremony, Han Ziqing even kissed Jun Beiyue during their bow to heaven and earth.

Jun Beiyue was overjoyed, but both were taken aback when guests from Jian’an City unexpectedly arrived. General Situ and his wife stormed in, angrily accusing Jun Beiyue of having proposed to Xin’er recently! Jun Beiyue and Han Ziqing were stunned. Jun Beiyue explained that there must be a misunderstanding and that he would never marry anyone else. Situ Haonan also clarified to his parents that the incident was a misunderstanding.

Jun Beiyue promised to investigate and give Jian’an City an explanation. When Lady Wan heard about this, she suggested to Jun Beiyue that he could marry Xin’er to resolve the issue, believing that Han Ziqing would understand. However, Han Ziqing was not one to compromise and firmly stated that she would not share her husband with anyone. Jun Beiyue’s stance was equally clear, and for a moment, Lady Wan found herself in an awkward position.

Later, Jun Beiyue took Han Ziqing to the special pavilion he had prepared for her, called "Xinqing Pavilion. " At that moment, Lady Wan began to cry. Despite Hongyi’s attempts to stop her, Shiliang insisted on entering to comfort Lady Wan. When Jun Beiyue and Han Ziqing returned, they heard from Shiliang that Lady Wan had fallen ill. They went to see her, and Lady Wan apologized, resolving the issue.

Lady Wan and Shiliang later had a private conversation in which Lady Wan hinted at her concerns that Han Ziqing might hold a grudge against her. She then asked Shiliang if she had feelings for Jun Beiyue. Shiliang didn’t dare respond, but Lady Wan confessed that she liked her and would help her in this matter. Overcome with joy, Shiliang couldn’t contain her excitement!
