The moment the Fourth Prince returned, Han Ziqing immediately pretended to be ill. Seeing this, the Fourth Prince quickly ordered his people to check her pulse. At first, Han Ziqing didn’t want to be examined, insisting that the imperial physician had already treated her and that it was nothing serious. However, the Fourth Prince persisted, so Lao Guo went ahead and checked her pulse. After the examination, he confirmed that it was indeed tuberculosis.

Han Ziqing, fearing that the Fourth Prince might touch her, tried to avoid being alone with him. But when she noticed the dagger at the Fourth Prince’s waist, her expression changed immediately.
