As night fell, Cui Xingzhou reflected on the absurd actions he had taken during the day, realizing that he might have made a mistake. Liu Miantang was not an object to be casually given away, and it would be a waste to let her life slip away before his eyes. The nanny suggested sending Liu Miantang back to her maternal family, but Cui Xingzhou had not made up his mind and did not give an answer.

Cui Xingzhou casually composed a poem, and his words flowed smoothly, perfectly matching the scene. Liu Miantang praised Cui Xingzhou's talent and admitted that she genuinely liked the plate, suggesting they keep it at home. Unintentionally, Liu Miantang gave Cui Xingzhou a choice, and he decided to keep Liu Miantang by his side. The next day, Cui Xingzhou shared his thoughts with Zhao Quan.
