While playing a game, Fang Li drew a script. If she completed the game script, she would be rewarded with a large amount of silver coins and an exquisite skin. Fang Li saw that her character in the script was a rich young lady who fell in love with a wealthy heir, Luo Yan, and relentlessly pursued him. She even transferred her entire family fortune to his name.
After finally wearing the wedding dress, she learned that Luo Yan’s father had promised to let her marry into the family, but the truth was, he wanted her to marry their eldest son. It was such a dramatic turn of events—Fang Li couldn’t get her dowry back, and she couldn’t marry the man she loved. Fang Li wanted to change the script, but the software program Aotian disagreed.
Even though Fang Li tried to jump off a building eight times, her fate didn’t change. Aotian severely warned her that if she tried again, her brain would be damaged. In order to obtain the game reward as soon as possible, Fang Li had no choice but to grit her teeth and finish the script. When Fang Li entered the game world, she found herself already dressed in a white wedding dress.
She went to Luo Yan’s company, but was refused entry. In despair, she went to a convenience store to buy water, only to realize she had no money. Fortunately, her runaway husband-to-be, An Yushen, passed by and directly paid for her. With nowhere else to go, Fang Li suddenly remembered that, according to the game’s setting, she had transferred all her assets to the An family. When her uncle and aunt heard the news, they immediately kicked her out.
Now, not only was she without any assets, but she had no place to stay either. Thankfully, An Yushen, her runaway fiancé, was kind to her. Not only was he willing to buy her a set of clothes, but he also let her stay at his house. Fang Li was moved by the warmth and courtesy of men like him.
While pondering that since Luo Yan was avoiding her, maybe she could take a different approach, she overheard An Yushen discussing a money transaction. A plan quickly formed in her mind. She decided to become An Yushen’s assistant, trick him into losing all his wealth, and then pin the blame on Luo Yan to end the game. An Yushen was willing to help Fang Li find a lawyer to retrieve the Fang family’s property.
Fang Li actively sought evidence and soon found proof that her uncle and aunt had embezzled her family’s wealth. With the lawyer in tow, she confronted her uncle and aunt. When they heard they were being sent to the police station, they immediately gave in, and the five-million-dollar fortune was quickly secured.
Initially, Fang Li had planned to use the simple-minded An Yushen to destroy the Luo family, but when she heard An Yushen on the phone with his grandmother, expressing regret over a 50-million loss caused to his company, she couldn’t help but feel a little sympathy. An Yushen’s character was genuinely kind, and he was willing to help her. It was just that using him as a weak spot to ruin the An family felt like bullying the vulnerable.
After receiving the call from his grandmother, An Yushen rushed back to speak with his father. Fang Li knew that An Yushen’s father had a notorious reputation, not only for his bad temper but also for his scheming nature. She worried that An Yushen might not be able to handle it, so she couldn’t help but go to the An family to understand the situation.
Sure enough, An Yushen was harshly scolded by his father, who then demanded the company’s security key. Despite his grandmother’s efforts to defend him, An Yushen’s father still looked down on him. In an effort to help, Luo Yan presented his recent performance, hoping to clear An Yushen’s name. Under questioning, An Yushen truthfully admitted that the performance was due to Luo Yan’s efforts. Fang Li went to the An family to deliver An Yushen’s briefcase.
Luo Yan blocked her at the door, directly taking the briefcase from her hands. When it fell open, a jewelry box slipped out. Inside were a pair of diamond earrings—Fang Li had bought clothes before but had forgotten to buy these. It seemed that An Yushen had remembered her.
In order to help him save face, Fang Li bought in-game equipment, walked into An Yushen’s home, and handed him her bank card, publicly announcing that all the money An Yushen had invested would be covered by her.
