An Yushen took Fang Li to meet a newly established supplier. A long limousine slowly pulled up, and a well-dressed woman stepped out of the car. When she saw An Yushen, she affectionately called him "Shen ge," but the closeness didn’t seem to belong to a married couple. Fang Li was left speechless, and even An Yushen looked confused. Later, both Fang Li and An Yushen asked Aotian about the supplier Yin Zhiluo.
It turned out that Yin Zhiluo was the younger sister of Fang Li’s best friend Yin Zhiluo. She was known for being headstrong and had a somewhat manic-depressive personality. Due to her spoiled childhood, she wasn’t liked by her peers. Since both An Yushen and she had no other friends, they often spent time together. Yin Zhiluo, however, had unrequited feelings for An Yushen. After hearing Aotian’s explanation, An Yushen also found the situation tricky.
It was already difficult enough to help the An family business thrive, and now there was this emotional drama in the game—it was a real mess. Not long after, An Xiangyang invited Yin Zhiluo over for dinner. Fang Li purposely changed into a shoulder-baring dress, and Yin Zhiluo kept calling An Yushen "Shen ge" without hesitation.
The grandmother found this awkward and subtly hinted that An Yushen was already married, but Yin Zhiluo, just back from abroad, seemed unfazed and still wanted to cause trouble for Fang Li. Yin Zhiluo’s sister, Yin Zhiluo, felt bad and warned her, but Yin Zhiluo left angrily. To gain An Yushen’s trust and finish her mission quickly, Fang Li decided to make a strawberry cake and take it to the company. But when she called, the assistant hesitated.
After repeatedly asking, the assistant finally stammered that An Yushen had just left to meet Yin Zhiluo. The more the assistant tried to hide it, the more suspicious it seemed. Fang Li felt that she needed to investigate the situation. She asked for the address and drove there immediately. At the department store, Fang Li saw Yin Zhiluo being overly forward with An Yushen, even offering him some samples of products just launched by her company.
Yin Zhiluo deliberately applied a lot of moisturizing cream on An Yushen’s skin. Fang Li felt frustrated watching this. At that moment, a salesgirl, noticing Fang Li hiding, immediately asked if she needed any assistance. An Yushen spotted Fang Li in a concealed corner, so he confidently walked over to her. He explained that since the Qixi Festival event was approaching, he had specifically invited Fang Li to help choose some promotional cosmetics.
With An Yushen’s support, Fang Li proudly stood beside him and even casually linked her arm through his. Yin Zhiluo, seeing how close they were, nearly lost her temper. Luo Yan, who had been avoiding Fang Li, now actively sought a meeting with her, which made Fang Li suspicious. At that time, the game manager had told her that getting closer to Fang Li could earn her an additional thousand points.
For the sake of the points, Fang Li asked him what he needed. Luo Yan, without hiding anything, told her that she should continue helping An Yushen expand his supermarket business and said, “It’s better to raise the pig before slaughtering it. ”After Fang Li left, Lin Lu, dressed in her pajamas, went to Luo Yan and asked why he wasn’t targeting An Yushen anymore.
Luo Yan explained that An Yushen had mortgaged the supermarket to raise some working capital, but he had done it without the board’s approval. If An Xiangyang found out that An Yushen had overstepped his authority, he would have no hesitation in kicking him out. Fang Li wasn’t sure what Luo Yan’s intentions were, but since he wanted her to temporarily help An Yushen grow the company, it seemed that Luo Yan had some big plans ahead.
Fang Li went home and began working on a plan for the Qixi Festival event. An Yushen had been waiting at home for a long time but hadn’t seen Fang Li return. He couldn’t help but go to the window and overheard the housekeeper say that Fang Li had already come back but had been in the study the whole time.
An Yushen was puzzled, so he took some desserts to the study, where he found Fang Li working on her proposal. After looking at it, An Yushen realized that she had put a lot of thought into it. She even predicted that it might rain on that day. Though An Yushen didn’t show much appreciation, he had already instructed his assistant to use the proposal that Fang Li had worked on.
On her way home from work, Yin Zhiluo saw Feng Zhixing giving up his seat to an elderly woman. He was waiting for the bus, and Yin Zhiluo found him quite interesting. She pulled over and offered him a ride. Feng Zhixing, who had always thought of Yin Zhiluo as out of his league, couldn’t help but admit that he was just a low-ranking employee and couldn’t provide the kind of life Yin Zhiluo wanted.
Yin Zhiluo, feeling insulted, responded bluntly that she was only offering him a ride because it was on her way, and he shouldn’t think too much of it.
