He even quoted the saying, “Fatten the pig before slaughtering it. ” Feeling caught in the middle, Fang Li resolved to find clues as soon as possible. Fang Li investigated the warehouse surveillance and found the warehouse manager, Wang Sheng, highly suspicious.
Digging into his background, she discovered that he had been deeply involved in gambling and was heavily in debt. However, just two days ago, he had suddenly paid off all his debts. Through a private investigator, Fang Li uncovered evidence of Wang Sheng meeting privately with Yin Zhili. With all the evidence in hand, Fang Li used a game tool to transform herself into Wang Sheng and approached Yin Zhili. She managed to record their conversation.
At the same time, An Yushen arrived. Earlier, Yin Zhili had deliberately created a fake video to frame Fang Li. Using his charm, An Yushen secretly obtained Yin Zhili’s phone and deleted the video. Yin Zhili’s plan completely fell apart. It turned out she had bribed Wang Sheng with a large sum of money and added harmful substances to some of the cosmetics.
With the truth revealed, Yin Zhili was scolded harshly by her father, leaving her questioning her life decisions. Her sister, Yin Zhiluo, encouraged her to stay strong and not lose her sense of reason over a man. Yin Zhili decided to leave the city. Before her departure, Fang Li visited her and gave her a childhood photo of Yin Zhili and An Yushen.
On the back of the photo, in An Yushen’s childlike handwriting, were the words: “We will always be best friends. ” Yin Zhili took the photo and left. The two officially made peace.
