Wen Xiaoliu seemed lost in thought and said farewell to Tu Shanjing without further ado. He believed that it wouldn't be long before they became a deeply in love couple.

Observing Wen Xiaoliu's expression, Cang Xuan curiously asked her about the reason for taking Tu Shanjing in. Wen Xiaoliu honestly explained the whole story, but Cang Xuan didn't believe her at all, stating that Tu Shanjing was not as simple as he appeared to be. On the other hand, Xiang Liu sought Lirong Lao-Bo and inquired about the gu planted on Wen Xiaoliu. Despite being a gu breeder herself, she didn't know what kind of gu it was. Lirong Lao-Bo, being knowledgeable, listened to Xiang Liu's description of the symptoms and determined that it was likely a male-female gu, also known as the love gu mentioned in the Jianghu legends.

Later, Cang Xuan came to find Wen Xiaoliu and, pretending to playfully embrace her, jumped into the sea, making it difficult for her to break free. At the same time, dozens of black-clad individuals appeared at the wine shop. Wen Xiaoliu nearly drowned, and Cang Xuan couldn't fully focus on fighting back. In the end, he was shot through the chest by Fengfeng Yinying's arrow. Seeing Wen Xiaoliu on the verge of unconsciousness, Xiang Liu immediately gave her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and brought her back to the shore.

The plan for tonight's operation was for Xiang Liu to control Cang Xuan using Wen Xiaoliu, while Fengfeng Yinying took the opportunity to kill Cang Xuan.
