Cang Xuan returned to Wushen Mountain and met Princess Haoling. He narrated his encounter in Qingshui Town and Princess Haoling was curious about Wen Xiaoliu's identity. Princess Haoling ordered Cang Xuan to bring Wen Xiaoliu to Haoling Kingdom, believing that she might be the child of an old friend. On the other hand, Wen Xiaoliu prepared a table of delicious food and wine for everyone, but only Sang Tian'er noticed that their separation was approaching, and her heart was filled with reluctance.

Soon, Wen Xiaoliu packed her bags and coincidentally, Tu Shanjing came to deliver ice crystals to cool down from the heat. Tu Shanjing was shocked to learn that she was leaving. Wen Xiaoliu didn't want much contact with Tu Shanjing, so she intentionally said some hurtful words. However, as soon as Tu Shanjing left, Cang Xuan suddenly appeared at Hui Chun Tang and insisted on taking her to Haoling Kingdom.

Although Wen Xiaoliu was feeling uneasy, she tried to politely refuse, but Cang Xuan would not take no for an answer. He gave her only two hours to pack her things and bid farewell to her loved ones, or else he would use force. Wen Xiaoliu hurried back to her room, anxiously thinking that she must not meet Princess Haoling, or her true identity would be exposed.

Meanwhile, Xiang Liu disguised himself and wore a mask to ask Jin Tianxing to forge a powerful weapon, a bow and arrow. Wen Xiaoliu didn't want her identity to become a weakness for Cang Xuan, so she sought Xiang Liu's help. She struck her leg hard, trying to make Xiang Liu feel the same pain, but unfortunately, Xiang Liu did not appear.

Considering that the only person she could seek help from was Tu Shanjing, as the Tu family had business throughout Da Huang and often supplied various materials to the rebels, she believed they must know the secret passage in and out of Qingshui Town. So, Wen Xiaoliu entrusted Hui Chun Tang to Sang Tian'er and asked her to seek Chuanzi and Mazi's help if she couldn't handle it. She trusted Sang Tian'er to manage Hui Chun Tang well.

After settling everything, Wen Xiaoliu went straight to Tu Shanjing's residence and directly explained her intentions. In her heart, she was a little scared, as Tu Shanjing's acceptance would mean that the Tu family would become enemies of Haoling Kingdom. However, Tu Shanjing agreed without hesitation and offered to accompany Wen Xiaoliu on her journey. In the end, disregarding the obstacles of the quiet night, Tu Shanjing led Wen Xiaoliu out of Qingshui Town through a secret passage. When Cang Xuan received the news, he led people to search for them, and Fengying intentionally revealed some clues. When Xiang Liu rushed to Hui Chun Tang, Wen Xiaoliu was already gone, which made him worry and regret.

That night, Wen Xiaoliu and Tu Shanjing camped in the wilderness. Tu Shanjing had never intended to conceal his identity and secrets, but he had his own reasons. Now, they were relying on each other for life and death, and Tu Shanjing voluntarily revealed his past before coming to Qingshui Town. There were two legitimate sons in the Tu family's generation: the eldest son, Tu Shanhou, and the second son, Tu Shanjing. They had different mothers, with Tu Shanhou being born to a maidservant and the family head. After the maidservant's death, the family head entrusted the son to his main wife for upbringing.

Though Tu Shanhou and Tu Shanjing were brothers, their personalities and preferences were completely different. Tu Shanhou liked to raise fierce beasts and had a wild and adventurous spirit. He possessed considerable spiritual power and quickly mastered martial arts techniques. In contrast, Tu Shanjing was gentle and refined, with interests in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. Initially, the two brothers had a good relationship, but Tu Shanhou was never favored by their mother, and whatever he did, he was punished and scolded.

Later, after their mother passed away, Tu Shanhou was devastated and went through a self-destructive phase until he learned about his true identity. He stopped indulging in drinking and self-pity. Tu Shanjing was glad to see his brother's change, thinking that they would work together to manage the family. However, unexpectedly, Tu Shanhou unleashed all the accumulated resentment on Tu Shanjing, locking him in a dungeon, sealing his spiritual power, and restraining him with dragon bone chains. As Wen Xiaoliu listened to Tu Shanjing's account, she could feel his pain and reached out to hold his hand, assuring him that as long as she was there, no one would dare to bully him again.

The next day, Tu Shanjing sensed that the inn was surrounded by Haoling's army, and there were two extremely powerful gods among them, making it difficult for him to deal with the situation. With Tu Shanjing's protection, Wen Xiaoliu escaped the inn, while Tu Shanjing confronted Cang Xuan and ended up severely injured. Cang Xuan threatened to take Tu Shanjing's life to force Wen Xiaoliu to return to him.
