She regretted that no one else was willing to be a test subject like Xiang Liu. The mirror showed Xiang Liu's appearance, and Wen Xiaoliu was completely absorbed in watching. Unaware of Haoling Wang Ji's presence beside her, he noticed the man in the mirror. He was worried that if they encountered Tu Shanjing in the future, Wen Xiaoliu would face a difficult choice. Without any hesitation, Wen Xiaoliu declared that she would choose Qiang Xuan. Anyone who opposed Qiang Xuan would be her enemy because she had already decided to wholeheartedly assist him in reclaiming his position.

Originally, Ruxiao had prepared a set of clothes for the celebration, but it was primarily red, which reminded Princess Haoling Ji of Chi Chen. She ordered a new outfit to be made. However, A Nian deliberately made the first outfit dirty, so Wen Xiaoliu had no choice but to wear it for the ceremony. With all eyes on her, she walked up to King Haoling to complete all the rituals. Qiang Xuan, Tu Shanjing, and Chishui Fenglong were captivated by her, but there was a man in the crowd who resembled Xiang Liu and wore a cruel and eerie smile.

After the celebration, King Haoling returned to Chao Huidian, freshened up, and rested briefly before heading to Yiqing Garden for the evening banquet. Wen Xiaoliu returned to Mingse Palace and took a nap, completely unaware of what was happening outside. Tu Shanjing came to Qiang Xuan and directly requested to meet Wen Xiaoliu, hoping he could pass on the message and meet her outside the Longgu Prison at the foot of the mountain.

Luckily, Tu Shanjing was still waiting for her and pulled her out of the water when she was exhausted. Xiang Liu witnessed this scene, feeling heartbroken. He remembered what Li Rong Lao Bo had said about the Love Gu - it not only claimed lives but hearts as well. Though he had nine lives, he only had one heart, and once it was given away, it could never be taken back.
