Assistant Mo, along with Qi Junye and Jiang Shishi, managed to find the daughter of the security guard who was present at the factory fire incident years ago. She recalled the events of that day when she was about to deliver food to her father. As she passed by the factory, she saw Qi Shuli clutching Jiang Shishi's tie. She was terrified, and later, Qi Shuli did not leave. Instead, he ignited the factory with a lighter, trapping Jiang Shishi inside, and he burned alive.
Upon hearing this, Jiang Shishi couldn't hold back her tears. The girl had wanted to save Jiang Shishi, but the fire was too intense. She thought about reporting the incident, but her father told her to keep quiet and forget about it. Although she suspected that Qi Shuli had paid for their silence, they were in desperate need of the money at the time. The girl felt guilty about the incident.
Now, with both testimonial and physical evidence in hand, Qi Junye planned to reveal the whole truth about the incident. Jiang Shishi, grateful for learning the truth about her father's death, was comforted by Qi Junye.

The three walked down the corridor together, and just as they reached the elevator door, Qi Shuli seized Jiang Shishi, pressing a hand against her neck as a threat to Qi Junye. Panicking, Qi Junye said he would give up everything, but Qi Shuli continued to threaten and took Jiang Shishi into the elevator with him.
