After getting out of bed, Qi Junye selected a tie and attempted to tie it in front of the mirror. However, after several attempts, he couldn't get it right and decided to go find Jiang Shishi. However, the nanny informed him that Jiang Shishi had already left for work. Qi Junye lost his appetite as he looked at the breakfast on the table. His assistant observed Qi Junye's disheveled appearance and wanted to offer a reminder but received only disdain from Qi Junye.
As Qi Junye watched Jiang Shishi busy with her work, he reminisced about the loving breakfasts she made for him every day and how she took care of his daily needs. Qi Junye couldn't resist creating an opportunity to cross paths with Jiang Shishi. However, when they bumped into each other face-to-face, he shyly turned away from her.
Qi Junye called Jiang Shishi into his office and reminded her to reduce their interactions at the company and to maintain the appearance of being Mrs. Qi at home. Jiang Shishi approached and reached out to touch Qi Junye's face, but she followed it up with a slap. She firmly refused all of his requests and reminded him not to be too self-absorbed. Qi Junye was left stunned by her actions.
In the office, employees privately discussed the relationship between Qi Junye, Chu Yu (played by Lv Yan), and Jiang Shishi. Chu Yu, who overheard the conversation, felt embarrassed and put an end to their discussion. Seeing Jiang Shishi enter the restroom, Chu Yu followed quietly with a mop. She listened to the noises inside and then raised the mop to shake off the dust inside the restroom. However, the screams coming from the restroom were not Jiang Shishi's. At that moment, Jiang Shishi popped her head out from behind Chu Yu and taunted her. Chu Yu, in response, threw the mop at Jiang Shishi and ran off on her own.
Turning to Qi Junye and hugging his arm, Chu Yu accused Jiang Shishi of bullying her. Qi Junye took the mop from Jiang Shishi's hand and ordered her to leave Junyue immediately. Jiang Shishi leaned closer to Qi Junye's ear and used the terms of their agreement to threaten him.
Fortunately, the appearance of the deputy general manager broke the deadlock. The deputy manager separated Qi Junye and Chu Yu and provided Jiang Shishi with a private "You Dun" typically used by the company's top executives, allowing her to better assist with designing.
