Jiang Shishi worked overtime in the company to check a USB drive. Qi Junye, who was still at the office, approached Jiang Shishi to see what she was working on. Feeling uneasy, Jiang Shishi pushed Qi Junye away, shut down her computer, and grabbed her bag to leave, leaving Qi Junye sitting there looking bewildered, as if he didn't know what had just happened.
Guests arrived at home, and following her mother-in-law's wishes, Jiang Shishi decided to greet them. She preferred not to engage too much with her mother-in-law, after all. One of the guests' children pointed at the necklace around Jiang Shishi's neck, wanting to play with it. Jiang Shishi firmly declined the child's request, which upset her mother-in-law. She insisted that Jiang Shishi should give up her necklace, but Jiang Shishi counterattacked by offering her the necklace. When the child realized they couldn't get what they wanted, they resorted to physical violence and started hitting Jiang Shishi. Jiang Shishi, not pleased with this, scolded the child, and the other ladies present decided to leave after witnessing Qi Tai Tai's actions.
In the evening, Qi Junye watched as Jiang Shishi held a paintbrush and thought she was drawing him. He sat on the sofa, motionless, thinking he was her model. After a few hours, Qi Junye fell asleep on the sofa. Jiang Shishi touched his feverish forehead and decided to help him onto the bed. She used a towel to wipe his forehead, intending to leave, but Qi Junye held her hand and pulled her back. Unable to resist, Jiang Shishi ended up sleeping by Qi Junye's side for the night.
When Qi Junye woke up and saw Jiang Shishi sleeping next to him, he carefully got up, picked her up, and placed her on the bed. He gazed down at her with affection.
Jiang Shishi woke up in the early morning and realized it was already 8:30 am. She quickly changed her clothes and asked for a ride from Qi Junye, but Qi Junye insisted on giving her a day off and drove away. Jiang Shishi thought she would rest at home for the day, but instead, she rode her electric bike to the office alone.
Just as she arrived at the company's entrance, she encountered Chu Yu (played by Lv Yan). The two of them made a bet – the winner's design would be used for a project, and the loser had to disappear from the other's sight. As Jiang Shishi worked late into the night, Qi Junye decided to give her a ride home, but to his surprise, he saw another guy waiting to pick up Jiang Shishi at the company's entrance. Qi Junye's pupils dilated in shock.
