Qi Junye watched in disbelief as Jiang Shishi got into another man's car and drove away. Frustrated by this surprise, Qi Junye could only stare in anger. Qi Junye's mother confronted him with a divorce agreement, but before he could say anything, his mother clapped her hands in approval and had even packed Jiang Shishi's luggage. As she walked out the door with her luggage, Jiang Shishi ran into Liu Shiyou, whom she mistakenly thought was Jiang Shishi's new lover. Qi Junye chased after them to stop his mother, but the heartbroken Jiang Shishi took the luggage from Qi Junye's hands and left with Liu Shiyou in the car.
Qi Junye instructed Assistant Mo to investigate Liu Shiyou's background. However, before Assistant Mo could finish speaking, Qi Junye hung up the phone and began reviewing the information himself. On the other side, the departing Jiang Shishi was arranged to have a singles party at a bar. The crowd demanded that she drink, but Liu Shiyou appeared and helped her out of the situation. Qi Junye appeared at the party with a stern face, trying to take Jiang Shishi home. However, she pushed him away. When Jiang Shishi refused to cooperate, Qi Junye resorted to using the agreement as a threat. Eventually, Jiang Shishi picked up her bag and left with Qi Junye.
Qi Junye, seeing that Jiang Shishi wouldn't get in the car, decided to pick her up and placed her in the passenger seat, even taking the initiative to fasten her seatbelt. Qi Junye then took Jiang Shishi to the place where he had previously had a date with Chu Yu.
