As soon as Jiang Shishi closed the door, there was a knock at the door. When Jiang Shishi opened it, she came face to face with Chu Yu. Chu Yu, dressed in a white lace camisole and holding a bottle of red wine, raised an eyebrow and questioned Jiang Shishi about her attire in the middle of the night, implying she was trying to seduce someone. Chu Yu, however, explained with a straight face that she had come to borrow a bottle opener from Junye Ge (Brother Junye).
Unable to argue with Jiang Shishi, Chu Yu called Qi Junye (played by Chen Xun) to explain that she had borrowed the bottle opener from his house last Tuesday, the same day his car broke down and was sent for repairs. Hearing this, Jiang Shishi finally realized that it was all a deliberate act by Chu Yu. She hugged Qi Junye's arm and asked Chu Yu to leave. Chu Yu, excited about staying there, was locked out of the room by a furious Jiang Shishi.
Chu Yu recalled Qi Junye's mother telling her about his divorce and expressing the desire for her to become her daughter-in-law. Standing outside the door, Chu Yu was secretly delighted and eavesdropped on the conversation inside.
Qi Junye's mother, as well as Jiang Shishi, were unaware of this property, which Qi Junye had bought for peace and convenience for work. Surprisingly, Qi Junye praised Jiang Shishi for her recent behavior.
Suddenly, the power went out in the room, causing Qi Junye to fall on top of Jiang Shishi. They were close, and their heartbeats quickened. Qi Junye asked Jiang Shishi if she would like to continue being Mrs. Qi. Jiang Shishi was shocked by the proposal, thinking that Qi Junye must have taken the wrong medication.
As Qi Junye was about to kiss her, Jiang Shishi began to feel nauseous.
