When Jiang Shishi (played by Zhu Jiaqian) came out of the bathroom, Qi Junye (played by Chen Xun) was already waiting with a glass of water. However, as soon as Jiang Shishi's hand touched the glass, she rushed back to the bathroom, feeling nauseous. Qi Junye, who was waiting outside the door, didn't understand why she had suddenly rushed to the bathroom, thinking that his words had disgusted her.
Qi Junye helped Jiang Shishi back to the room, covered her with a blanket, and sat by her side, waiting for her. When Jiang Shishi urged him to leave, he shamelessly lay down next to her. Seeing this, Jiang Shishi kicked him away and ordered him to sleep on the sofa.
As Jiang Shishi lay in bed, she couldn't fall asleep and kept thinking about Qi Junye's sweet words and actions earlier. A smile crept onto her lips, but she quickly shook her head, reminding herself to stay clear of this scoundrel.
The next morning, Jiang Shishi was awakened by the growling of her stomach. When she opened the door, she found that Qi Junye had already prepared breakfast for her. Hungry, she wolfed down a few bites, only to rush to the bathroom to vomit shortly after.
In the company restroom, Chu Yu (played by Lv Yan) confronted Jiang Shishi once again. She taunted Jiang Shishi, suggesting that she should divorce Qi Junye and leave him. Jiang Shishi realized that her mother-in-law, Mrs. Song, had been spreading rumors. She responded with a few retorts and left.
During a company meeting, Chu Yu and Jiang Shishi took turns introducing their product design concepts. Towards the end, Jiang Shishi presented surveillance footage showing Chu Yu stealing product design ideas. Everyone in the room was shocked by the video, and despite Chu Yu's attempt to intervene, she ended up on the ground, kneeling beside Jiang Shishi.
Seeing the situation, Qi Junye immediately fired Chu Yu, and Jiang Shishi was temporarily appointed as the head of the design department.
