Wen Lan came out of the research institute, and Mu Bai and Shi Chu quickly approached her, offering to give her a ride home. The two of them started arguing endlessly, leaving Wen Lan quite speechless. She decided to walk away and said she would take the bus home. Mu Bai and Shi Chu hurriedly caught up. Mu Bai had never taken a bus before and didn't know how to use the card needed. He even tried using his black card, leaving Wen Lan completely speechless. She helped him with the card.
Once they got off the bus, there were several snack stalls around. Mu Bai and Shi Chu were very diligent in buying lots of things to please Wen Lan. A couple asked Wen Lan to take their photo, and Mu Bai took advantage of the situation and had them take a photo with him too. Originally, it was a picture of the three of them, but Mu Bai cut Shi Chu out and placed it as a group photo on his desk.
Zhuang Wenhua sold off all the properties under his name. Mu Bai felt he should support Wen Lan and bought these properties. When Wen Lan also wanted to buy, she found out that Mu Bai had purchased all of them, leaving her very frustrated.
Wen Lan went to find Mu Bai, expressing that he had once again disrupted her plans. Zhuang Wenhua had sold these properties to liquidate and buy shares in Jinghua Research Institute, aiming to push himself out. Unexpectedly, Mu Bai had still lent a helping hand. Mu Bai was very frustrated and quickly sought out Wen Lan. She told him that their relationship was over and asked him not to come anymore.
