He expressed his deep apologies to Wen Lan and didn't expect her forgiveness, only wishing for her well-being.
Reading the letter, Wen Lan was also deeply saddened. She used to resent Zhuang Wencheng, but now that she realized he was dying, she felt a sense of sadness. The doctor informed Wen Lan that Zhuang Wencheng had been successfully rescued, which made her very relieved.
Chu Shi met Shi Xun, who criticized Chu Shi for passively watching Mu Bai and Wen Lan's reunion. Shi Xun believed that Chu Shi lacked determination. Chu Shi stated that he had done everything he could and wouldn't assist Shi Xun anymore.
