An Jingzhao suspected that Li Chuyue was sent as an assassin by the second villa master and interrogated her sternly. Li Chuyue's answers were very strange, leaving An Jingzhao utterly puzzled. By a stroke of luck, Li Chuyue discovered that An Jingzhao had an unsolved puzzle - "how to make water flow backward." Li Chuyue cleverly provided the answer, giving An Jingzhao the opportunity to meet the divine healer, Luo Shenyi. An Jingzhao was impressed by her intelligence but still didn't give up on investigating whether she was an assassin. He used tactics to question Li Chuyue, who was very candid. Li Chuyue's innocent and adorable appearance dispelled An Jingzhao's suspicions. An Jingzhao proposed that Li Chuyue must cooperate with him to evade the second villa master's spies. If successful, An Jingzhao would allow Li Chuyue to search for a way back home in his room.

The two ventured into the outskirts, and Li Chuyue believed that staying with An Jingzhao would be life-threatening. So, she pretended to act alongside An Jingzhao while secretly searching for an opportunity to escape. Unfortunately, despite her various tactics, An Jingzhao saw through them all with just one glance.
