The elderly lady noticed that her grandson had feelings for Li Chuyue and wanted to help them be together, so she summoned the two of them to her courtyard to pray for blessings on the Double Third Festival. Bai Zhi, upon hearing the news, was furious. The second master of the estate instigated Bai Zhi to put a drug in the banquet, causing chaos in the marriage arrangements. Bai Zhi willingly went along with it, but an unexpected incident occurred, and she accidentally drank poisoned wine, narrowly escaping a serious mishap.

On the day of the grand wedding, the second master of the estate sent people to pretend to be remnants of the demonic sect and attack the guests. In reality, they planned to replace the bride and assassinate An Jingzhao. An Jingzhao had already sensed this and had moved ahead of time, successfully avoiding the danger. He also traced the assassins back to the second master's secret organization, defeating them and temporarily preventing the second master from taking rash actions.

However, on the night of the wedding, An Jingzhao and Li Chuyue suddenly returned to the modern world. An Jingzhao was greatly surprised, while Li Chuyue deeply regretted missing the designer competition. They speculated that there might be some sort of passage between the two worlds, but they didn't know the conditions under which it would open.
