Wen Ran believed that Du Yuncheng's reason for breaking up was Su Weian, but Du Yuncheng showed his phone's location-sharing software, expressing his strong dislike for such a relationship built on mutual distrust. This deepened Wen Ran's resentment towards Su Weian. She intentionally spread rumors at the hospital about Su Weian having reported her supervisor, He Xiaoguang, and dropping out of school. Even her lie about studying in Paris was publicly exposed by He Xiaoguang.

As Su's mother neared a breakdown, Gu Yunzheng stepped in to defend Su Weian. Jiang Muying hurriedly called Su Weian, and luckily Su Weian had prepared an extra report in advance.
