Su's mother noticed that her daughter seemed a bit off. Upon seeing the epidemic announcement posted online, she quickly called Du Yuncheng. Anxious to enter the hospital, she learned that Gu Yunzheng was on the list of close contacts but insisted on entering as a translator.

Due to Su Weian's insistence, Du Yuncheng had no choice but to agree, feeling uneasy. He felt that no matter what he did, they only cared about Gu Yunzheng. While resting, Su Weian heard that the 803 isolation ward had been thoroughly disinfected, rushing to find an empty, cold bed.

Initially, Gu Yunzheng had said that no one knew whether illness or accident would come first. So Su Weian reminisced about their shared experiences. Upon finding an empty bed, she emotionally broke down, regretting not confessing her feelings to Gu Yunzheng earlier. Just as she finished speaking, Gu Yunzheng walked out from behind the curtain. Su Weian was pleasantly surprised, and the joy of surviving the ordeal made her cherish their relationship even more. She decided not to be a deserter.

According to the 20th announcement from the city's epidemic prevention and control command, the closed control management area will be systematically lifted today. As of today, Hua Ren Medical University Affiliated Hospital has lifted the lockdown. Early in the morning, Su Weian dressed up and went on a date with Gu Yunzheng.

After Gu Yunzheng's surgery, he took Su Weian to the cinema, claiming to do something he had long wanted to do with his girlfriend – watching a horror movie. In the cinema, Gu Yunzheng pretended to be scared, naturally pulling Su Weian into his arms. Later, they held hands and watched the night sky.
