Lin Yan saw a familiar figure, which looked like her mother. She chased after her without hesitation, but her feet were bleeding, and she still couldn't see the person's face. Just then, Ning Lan came back. Seeing Lin Yan's bleeding feet, he picked her up without a word and treated her wound before carrying her to the street on his back.

Zhou Yuan thought that her destined one would appear by the time of the dog hour. Wei Qi believed that Zhou Yuan was really waiting for someone else, and he became extremely jealous and dragged her away. On the bridge, Wei Qi stopped and passionately confessed his love to Zhou Yuan. Suddenly, someone pushed him, and he took the opportunity to tightly embrace Zhou Yuan. Zhou Yuan told Wei Qi that she couldn't easily fall in love since she was young, so at first she couldn't distinguish whether her feelings towards him were just a passing fancy or if she truly liked him. Ning Lan didn't dare to act rashly and was knocked down by Xue Deng, while Lin Yan was also controlled by him. Lin Yan struggled to move his throat, urging Ning Lan to leave quickly. However, Xue Deng was even more interested and had a look of watching a show, to see if Ning Lan really had the heart to abandon Lin Yan.
