The ransom letter has been sent out for a day and night, but no one has come. The people of Shen Ji Men are somewhat annoyed. They look at Wei Qi, who is helpless on the side, and feel a little sorry for him. One of them feels empathy and takes a wine bottle to drink with Wei Qi. He gently pats Wei Qi's shoulder, then raises the bottle and drinks it all. Wei Qi accidentally sees the necklace on the man's neck and somehow squints his eyes mischievously, thinking of something.

Meanwhile, Zhou Yuan has not seen Wei Qi for a long time and can't help but worry. She doesn't know where he went, so she asks Wei Qing. Wei Qing is not worried and firmly believes that Wei Qi has gone out for something and will be back in a few days. She also mentions something that happened many years ago. If they hadn't severed their relationship, eventually one of them would die. Lin Yan secretly overheard their conversation and made a decision. She walked up and said that she could give up her power and become an ordinary person.

Drunk Li Mian intentionally lay on the bed, hoping that Bi Xingyue would appear. At midnight, someone quietly walked in, and Li Mian suddenly sobered up and knocked the intruder down on the bed. However, it was not Bi Xingyue who came, but the shopkeeper who came to deliver the hangover soup. Li Mian was disappointed and had to drink the hangover soup.
