As the first snowfall of the year blanketed the city, Jiang Chengyi picked up Lu Yan after work. Seeing the snowflakes dancing in the air outside the hospital, Lu Yan insisted on enjoying the snow properly. Jiang Chengyi thought of a special place and decided to take her there. On the way, Lu Yan rolled down the car window despite the cold weather, fully immersing herself in the beauty of the white snow.
Jiang Chengyi brought her back to Ninghai University, to the plaza where they first met. Lu Yan asked Jiang Chengyi what he was thinking at that moment. Jiang Chengyi expressed his gratitude for having such a kind, courageous, and hardworking girlfriend. Lu Yan, knowing how much effort it had taken to be with him, couldn't help but reminisce about their university days.
Lu Yan once confessed her feelings to Jiang Chengyi through the campus broadcast platform while he was playing basketball, causing a stir on the court. She declared that if Jiang Chengyi fulfilled their agreement, she would agree to be his girlfriend. Zhong Wenxuan and Yuan Dalu asked Jiang Chengyi what the agreement was, but he only smiled without answering.
On the day of the school sports meet, Lu Yan heard that Jiang Chengyi would wait for her at the finish line of the 3,000-meter race. Overcome with excitement, she ran downstairs. Returning to the present, Lu Yan reflected on how their eight-year journey had been full of ups and downs, and she resolved to stay by Jiang Chengyi’s side for the rest of her life. Jiang Chengyi, in turn, presented her with a necklace adorned with a snowflake pendant. Meanwhile, Tang Jie and Zhong Wenxuan were having noodles on the street. Wen Peng’s mother met him and was overwhelmed with guilt for abandoning her son in the past, repeatedly lamenting that no matter how difficult things were, she should never have left him. However, it was too late, and Wen Peng refused to forgive her. Wen Peng’s father also wanted to see him one last time, but Wen Peng flatly refused. Filled with regret, his father stood outside the prison in anguish.
Due to the severity of his crimes, Wen Peng received a death sentence and was soon executed. Tang Jie and Zhong Wenxuan began exploring the short video industry. Yu Zheng decided to return to teaching at the university. While taking a stroll in the park, she called the police bureau to ask for instructions.

Touched by his simple and genuine confession, Yu Zheng hugged him and kissed him, and they got together. Jiang Chengyi and Lu Yan prepared for their wedding but struggled to find an ideal honeymoon destination due to their limited vacation time. Meanwhile, Zhong Wenxuan’s short videos became hugely popular. He decided to write more scripts to maintain the momentum, one of which was a romantic suspense drama titled "Love Song in Winter." Tang Jie predicted it would be a massive hit.
