Xia Qiange asked Gu Chengze why he hadn't been home recently. Gu Chengze said he was just too busy and apologized to Xia Qiange. Xia Qiange said she needed to punish him, and Gu Chengze asked how she wanted to punish him. Xia Qiange pushed Gu Chengze down onto a chair and kissed him directly.
Gu Chengfeng came to find Gu Chengze, and Gu Chengze asked if there was something they couldn't discuss at the company. Gu Chengfeng revealed that the truth behind their mother's car accident was far more cruel than he had imagined. Gu Chengfeng told him that the car coming from the opposite direction at that time was driven by Xia's father. Xia Qiange had fallen ill, and her father was driving her to the hospital.
