Su Ruofei posted a recruitment notice for Lu Guang Music House. Many people were infatuated when they saw that Jin Shangyu was there, but when they heard rumors that Su Ruofei had failed to seduce Yun Mu and was sent back, many didn’t dare to join. Jin Shangyu warned everyone that if they continued to slander Su Ruofei, he would not let them off.

Yun Mu had also discovered that A Jin had disappeared, and rumors about Su Ruofei had spread after she returned to Yun Yao. Worried, Yun Mu insisted on going to Yun Yao. Xiao Qi feared it was a trap set by their enemies, but the more Yun Mu worried, the more determined he was to go.

At first, Eleven and the others didn’t dare boss Yun Mu around, but when they heard about how Yun Mu used to bully Su Ruofei in Fantasy City, they didn’t hold back. Yun Mu covered his face with a handkerchief while serving Su Ruofei tea, wanting to explain, but Su Ruofei refused to listen. Yun Mu knew she had suffered a lot, so he didn’t blame her for her attitude.

After eating Yun Mu’s cooking, A Biao jumped into a water tank, pretending to be a frog. Huang Ying, frightened, rushed to find Jin Shangyu, only to discover that he had already eaten all the food and was showing signs of poisoning. He demanded that Huang Ying play the qin, while he began to dance in an enchanting manner. It turned out that Yun Mu, not knowing the appearance of vegetables, had mistakenly picked toxic herbs.

Su Ruofei demanded that Yun Mu leave, but Yun Mu insisted that he could learn to identify the poisonous plants. He accused Su Ruofei of being heartless. Su Ruofei, worried about Yun Mu, quickly followed him, pretending she was searching for a cure for A Biao. Only then was Xiao Qi satisfied. Meanwhile, in the room, Huang Ying tried to force Jin Shangyu to take his medicine, but he refused. In frustration, Huang Ying fed it to him mouth-to-mouth, and to her surprise, Jin Shangyu became addicted, pulling her in for a kiss.

Su Ruofei quietly followed Yun Mu the entire time, but because Yun Mu couldn’t hear, he didn’t notice. Watching Yun Mu seriously gather herbs, Su Ruofei smiled with relief. But just then, Su Ruofei spotted a snake in the tree. She held her breath and stayed still until the snake left, but when she looked again, Yun Mu was gone. Panicked, Su Ruofei hurried to follow him. She tried to contact Yun Mu, but her bell bracelet was missing.

She took out a panpipe and played from a high place. Yun Mu, hearing the sound, recognized it as Su Ruofei’s and quickly followed the sound to find her. Yun Mu was overjoyed to see Su Ruofei there and knew she was worried about him. Su Ruofei stubbornly denied it, but upon finding the herbs, she immediately led Yun Mu back. In the woods, a group of assassins, afraid of causing a disturbance, quickly retreated.

Jin Shangyu questioned Yun Mu’s true reason for coming here. Why had he driven Su Ruofei away before, only to return now? Yun Mu told Jin Shangyu that he had sent Su Ruofei away to protect her and that now, after resigning from his position as Shaojun, he only wanted to stay by Su Ruofei’s side and be with her forever. Su Ruofei overheard these words, and just as Huang Ying arrived, she marveled at Yun Mu’s devotion.

But Su Ruofei couldn’t help but think of Yun Mu’s past mistake of mistaking her for someone else. Feeling hurt, she turned and left.
