Gu Sheng noticed her father approaching with determination, hurriedly moving forward to intercept. Unexpectedly, her father brushed past her and headed straight for Mo Qingcheng. Gu Sheng feared her father had discovered something between her and Mo Qingcheng, nearly surrendering to panic. However, her father recognized Mo Qingcheng as the doctor who frequently shopped at the supermarket, praising his character and medical skills. He even mentioned that patients visiting the supermarket spoke highly of him. Gu Sheng's anxious heart finally settled, relieved that it was a false alarm.

Her father introduced Gu Sheng to Mo Qingcheng, who pretended not to know Gu Sheng and greeted her casually. Her father insisted that Mo Qingcheng visit their home to pick up mooncakes. Panicking, Gu Sheng pulled her father aside, expressing concern that his enthusiasm might frighten Mo Qingcheng. Her father reluctantly left, bidding farewell to Mo Qingcheng before departing. After buying the mooncakes, Mo Qingcheng wanted to accompany Gu Sheng home, but she was afraid her father would find out. She quickly pointed Mo Qingcheng in the direction of the subway station and hastily returned home. Upon entering the courtyard, she overheard her father and grandfather talking. Hearing her father say there was no rush for her to return home, Gu Sheng joyfully turned around and fled.

Mo Qingcheng hesitated to leave and lingered near Gu Sheng's house. Coincidentally, he saw Gu Sheng running towards him, breathless. With similar intentions, they roamed the neighborhood together. Feng Ya Song arrived at the studio, a pediatrician working in the same hospital as Mo Qingcheng. Dou Dou Dou Bing promptly assigned him a task: to participate in interviews for two permanent positions at the recording studio, evaluating and scoring the candidates alongside Mo Qingcheng.

Mo Qingcheng noticed that Zou Diao Er, a member of the Sheng Yin She (Voice Society), also attended the interview. Additionally, he discovered that Zou Diao Er was a fan of Feng Ya Song. Coincidentally, both Mo Qingcheng and Gu Sheng gave Zou Diao Er extra points. Meanwhile, Zou Diao Er shared the news with Guai Guai, emphasizing the need to keep it a secret from Gu Sheng and avoiding any mention of Qing Qing Ci's name. Zou Diao Er planned to improve her chances through wishes. Joyfully, she received a call from Feng Ya Song, learning about her successful application.

Mo Qingcheng visited the supermarket, where Gu Sheng offered him oden to eat. Some colleagues from the hospital also came to buy groceries. Gu Sheng noticed her female colleague's concern for Mo Qingcheng. The colleague congratulated Mo Qingcheng's father on becoming the hospital dean, curious why Mo Qingcheng didn't transfer to his father's hospital. Mo Qingcheng didn't elaborate, and the colleague, sensing his indifferent attitude, tactfully left.

Mo Qingcheng asked Gu Sheng to play the popular song "Zhao Xi" (Morning and Night). Two female customers noticed Mo Qingcheng's handsome appearance and wanted to add him on WeChat. Mo Qingcheng stood up to pay the bill, claiming he wanted to add Gu Sheng on WeChat. It was obvious he did it to impress the two customers, leaving Gu Sheng feeling delighted. After work, Mo Qingcheng came to pick up Gu Sheng on his bicycle. Gu Sheng planned to introduce Mo Qingcheng to her family and hoped her two older brothers wouldn't question him. When they arrived home, her brothers asked about the man, and Gu Sheng pretended to give directions while Mo Qingcheng played along.

After returning home, her brothers inquired about the man, and Gu Sheng lied, saying he was a doctor from the opposite supermarket, and his girlfriend lived in their lane. Her brothers were satisfied with the explanation. Later that night, Gu Sheng couldn't sleep and decided to compose a new song to ease her mind. Simultaneously, Mo Qingcheng, working overtime, prepared to complete the backlog of recordings. Gu Sheng reflected on their frequent meetings and decided to decline Mo Qingcheng's request for a bedtime call, telling him she would be at the supermarket tomorrow, and he could visit anytime if he wanted to see her.
