Chen Jiaping, with the help of Er Badao and using Zhang Shuyun's earring, managed to leave the office safely and acquire several labor certificates. Over the next period, Jiang Zhaoguo and others began discussing the operation plan. Chen Jiaping offered strategic advice and presented the stolen labor certificates from Zhao An's office. It turned out that a restaurant owner named Kaiyun was responsible for delivering meals to the factory. According to Guo Yun, they could get buns for lunch every day, which indicated that a portion of the meals sent to the military uniform factory was destined for the counterfeit money factory. By tracking the delivery people to the counterfeit money factory, they hoped to locate its position. The action plan was well-prepared, and Liu Wuchang deemed it feasible. They soon started executing the plan methodically.

In the car, they divided their roles. Jiang Zhaoguo and Chen Jiaping would go in to deliver food to the Japanese and the foreman, while Zuo Shuangtao and Liu Wuchang would distribute buns to the workers outside. Chen Jiaping reminded the others to maintain their disguises before entering. They encountered the first obstacle at the entrance, where Sun, the foreman, wanted to check their labor certificates and inquired about why different people were delivering the food. Chen Jiaping was well-prepared and skillfully handled Sun's questions. When Sun inquired about Jiang Zhaoguo, Chen Jiaping, in a moment of quick thinking, claimed that he was mute, successfully deceiving Sun. They entered the military uniform factory, and Chen Jiaping and Jiang Zhaoguo delivered the food to the Japanese while Sun was responsible for delivering food to the underground factory.

The Japanese ordered Chen Jiaping to leave through a different exit, so he tied himself with a wire and followed the sounds to track Sun. When a worker from the uniform factory climbed a wall and twisted his foot, the noise raised Sun's suspicion. Chen Jiaping rescued the injured worker, who had secretly eaten from one of the containers. This worker had inadvertently discovered that Sun had previously taken meals to Warehouse 23. From this, Chen Jiaping and Jiang Zhaoguo concluded that the counterfeit money factory was located inside Warehouse 23.

A Japanese leader talked to the laborer who drove the truck, inquiring about Zhou's situation. This person was from the Military Statistics Bureau and not as well-prepared as Chen Jiaping, so he had to go along with what the Japanese leader said.

Jiang Zhaoguo coordinated with the Typhoon Team's leader, Tao Dachun. The Typhoon Team would assist them in their nighttime operation. Before the operation began, Jiang Zhaoguo asked Chen Jiaping to remain in the car, and Chen Jiaping could only verbally remind Zuo Shuangtao to stay safe. When they changed shifts, the operation commenced. Jiang Zhaoguo was the first to trigger an alarm to alert the Japanese, causing the Japanese leader to check the rear of the truck. He ended up killing the driver, who was from the Military Statistics Bureau. Chen Jiaping, on the brink of being discovered, managed to use the wire to unlock his handcuffs and hide on the roof of the truck without being noticed.

Jiang Zhaoguo and the others entered Warehouse 23 but found that the underground passage had been sealed, indicating that the counterfeit money factory had been relocated. At this point, they were in a precarious situation. An MP squad was about to arrive, so Chen Jiaping went in to rescue them. Chen Jiaping helped Jiang Zhaoguo escape but was surprised when Jiang Zhaoguo pointed a gun at him. Chen Jiaping managed to disarm him and left, while the injured Jiang Zhaoguo was captured by the Japanese. After the incident, some members of their team managed to escape, but there were casualties. Tao Dachun interrogated Jiang Zhaoguo about Chen Jiaping's whereabouts. However, Liu Wuchang intervened and allowed Chen Jiaping to escape. In the aftermath, Naoshita presented labor certificates and proposed to cooperate with Jiang Zhaoguo to expose the hidden operatives from the Taihe Trading Company, known as "Red Peach Five." Zuo Shuangtao had suspicions about Chen Jiaping's identity, but at this point, Chen Jiaping couldn't reveal his true identity. Nonetheless, he shared all this information with the Parrot. Chen Jiaping was familiar with the Military Statistics Bureau's special agent with the codename "Da Yan."
