Xiang Yan asked Lin Hengyu what he had been doing with her mother, and he came up with an excuse to dodge the question. Jiang Qi's mother introduced a blind date partner to her son, but Jiang Qi said he already had a girlfriend. However, the girl seemed to really like him and didn't mind that he had a girlfriend. Shi Ran showed his love plan to Tan Shishi, and she was pleased with it. Xiang Yan found out that Jiang Qi was bringing a girl to the amusement park, so Shi Ran took Tan Shishi there. Lin Hengyu and Xiang Yan also came, and Lu Nian pretended to be a doll.
Jiang Qi intentionally made their relationship seem complicated to scare away the blind date partner, but it didn't work. Jiang Qi then asked Lin Hengyu and Shi Ran if they had a solution. He saw a haunted house and suggested going in to scare away the girl. They went in together, and inside, Lin Hengyu told Xiang Yan that Jiang Qi had disappeared. Suddenly, they heard Jiang Qi's scream, and when Xiang Yan turned around, she saw Lu Nian. Lin Hengyu went to find Jiang Qi, and Xiang Yan and Lu Nian went backstage. Lu Nian also had feelings for Jiang Qi but was afraid that he wouldn't want to be with her once he knew her identity.
After Xiang Yan came out, she was surprised to see Lin Hengyu also outside, and she realized that he had seen Lu Nian earlier, which she hadn't expected. Lin Hengyu took Xiang Yan around to enjoy the park. Meanwhile, Jiang Qi was still stuck in the haunted house. Lu Nian thought she wouldn't be seen by Jiang Qi, but he recognized her instantly. Jiang Qi embraced Lu Nian, and she revealed her true self to him, saying she was like a Cinderella with nothing. However, Jiang Qi didn't care about any of that; he only cared about Lu Nian as a person. She then told him the password to get out of the haunted house, and Jiang Qi successfully escaped. Tan Shishi and Shi Ran wanted to ride the Ferris wheel, but it was closed.
Shi Ran kissed Tan Shishi, and this time, she didn't refuse. Shi Ran felt that their relationship had been destined since childhood, but he had always liked Tan Shishi and wanted to break free from that predetermined connection. Xiang Yan opened up to Lin Hengyu about her family situation when she was young. She always feared being alone. Lin Hengyu revealed that he had always been reluctant to believe in intimate relationships because he preferred being alone. He recounted their first meeting when Xiang Yan caught a cold and went to the hospital for a drip. He believed that their encounter was never a mistake from the beginning. Xiang Yan didn't expect Lin Hengyu to remember everything. Lin Hengyu asked Xiang Yan if she would be willing to spend her life with him. She said yes.
