Leng Jiaxuan transferred his anger to Leng Zhixing for marrying his woman. Consequently, he angrily overturned Leng Zhixing's wheelchair, leaving him in a helpless state on the ground. Upon returning to his room, he found Xia Miaomiao reading. Leng Zhixing unleashed a barrage of accusations at Xia Miaomiao, criticizing her for having a rich emotional life and attracting men at the age of eighteen. Despite Xia Miaomiao's distress, Leng Zhixing did not allow her to explain and promptly expelled her from the room.
As Xia Miaomiao walked away, tears streaming down her face, she couldn't comprehend why Leng Zhixing had spoken to her in such a manner. After crying for a while, she realized that Leng Zhixing was not a normal person, and there was no point in arguing with him. As the sky darkened, the street suddenly filled with noisy footsteps. Afterward, he revealed himself as Leng Zhixing, handed her a business card, and instructed her to contact him if she ever got hurt.
After the man left, Xia Miaomiao thought he resembled Leng Zhixing, but his agility contradicted Leng Zhixing's condition. Indeed, the masked man was Leng Zhixing. He had gone out to investigate Leng Jiaxuan, and upon returning to his office, he ordered his subordinates to bring back his wife. However, they informed him that his wife was at a bar having a date with Leng Jiaxuan. Infuriated, Leng Zhixing, upon seeing the photos taken by his subordinates, laughed instead of getting angry. He then commanded them to promptly investigate who exactly he had married. In the end, Leng Zhixing learned that he had married Xia Miaomiao, the adopted daughter of the Xia family and a medical graduate student.
