After arriving at the seaside, Wang Putao sat on the beach and looked at Feng Tianlan beside her. She couldn't help but complain in her heart. This man in front of her had kissed her under the influence of alcohol, but after that, he acted as if nothing had happened, pretending as if everything was normal. She wondered how long he could keep up this act. After complaining about Feng Tianlan, she reminded him not to constantly think about work in his mind, as it could easily turn him into a workaholic. However, Feng Tianlan believed that becoming a workaholic wasn't a bad thing. He then shifted the topic to Wang Putao's father, and she told him the story of her and her father.

Wang Putao and her father had never had a good relationship. The bond between them relied on her mother, and when she was ten years old, her mother passed away, leading her to sever contact with her father. It was her aunt who raised her. Now her father had developed Alzheimer's disease, and although she had returned, she hadn't figured out how to face him. During this time of interaction, Wang Putao discovered that Feng Tianlan was a very sincere person. He never mentioned what happened last night, which made her feel a bit frustrated. So she deliberately mentioned that Feng Tianlan could act crazy sometimes, and Feng Tianlan laughed and said she was the crazy one. The two of them started playing and frolicking in the sea.

In order to create an opportunity for Feng Tianlan and Wang Putao to be alone, her aunt intentionally gave them the house. When Wang Putao saw that Feng Tianlan's hair was wet, she helped him dry it with a towel. With close proximity, Feng Tianlan couldn't help but recall the scene from last night. Seeing Feng Tianlan frozen in place, Wang Putao also felt the atmosphere was a bit awkward, so she moved aside to drink. Feng Tianlan chased after her, picked up a glass, and clinked it with hers, reminding her not to forget their agreement to complete the manuscript together.

Wang Putao continued to tell the story of Sun Xuan. Sun Xuan had a peculiar personality and didn't like to interact with others. Lately, she had been having some strange dreams that made it difficult for her to distinguish between reality and dreams. As a result, strange things frequently happened to her. One day, when Sun Xuan had a cold, another strange thing occurred. Someone actually brought her cold medicine. In a hazy state, she saw a very handsome boy who even kissed her. She thought it was just an illusion caused by her long period of being single, but that illusion felt incredibly real.

Another day, she had made plans to eat at a restaurant with her friend, but her friend couldn't come due to some reason. Sun Xuan had just ordered a set meal when she received a message on her phone. Someone wanted to share a table with her, and then she saw the boy from her dreams standing outside the window like a fool. She asked the waiter to add another seat for him. After the boy sat down, he remained silent. When it was time for Sun Xuan to pay the bill, the waiter informed her that the boy had already paid for it. She was about to apologize to the other person, but the boy left without saying a word.

As Wang Putao reached this point in the story, Feng Tianlan curiously asked her why Sun Xuan could sometimes see the boy and other times not. Wang Putao rolled her eyes and discontentedly told him that it was because she was always in her dreams.
