Before meeting Wang Putao's father, Feng Tianlan first called Teacher Wu according to the information provided by Wang Putao, and then drove to the music rehabilitation center. At the music rehabilitation center, Wang Putao's father was being persuaded by doctors because he refused to take medication. The doctor told him that he had a daughter, but Mr. Wang asked the doctor in confusion why his family members didn't come to see him if he had any. Seeing Mr. Wang feeling down again, the doctor couldn't help but tell Teacher Wu that he didn't know what grudge Mr. Wang's daughter had against him. He had been in contact with her for so long, but she refused to come and visit him. Teacher Wu informed the doctor that a young man had called just now and would come to see Mr. Wang, and he should be related to Mr. Wang's daughter. After Feng Tianlan arrived at the rehabilitation center, he expressed his thoughts to the doctor. He represented Wang Putao and wanted to take Mr. Wang out to live for a while. The doctor asked about Feng Tianlan's relationship with Wang Putao and upon learning that they were only colleagues, he refused his request because according to the hospital's regulations, only direct relatives could handle discharge procedures. The doctor took Feng Tianlan to meet Mr. Wang, who, still having memories of his daughter at the age of 17, became aware that Feng Tianlan was already 25. He suddenly raised his fist and warned Feng Tianlan to stay away from Wang Putao. Helplessly, Feng Tianlan lied to Mr. Wang, claiming that he was only 18 years old this year. Feng Tianlan noticed that although Mr. Wang had dementia, he still remembered things from Wang Putao's childhood. When Feng Tianlan mentioned Wang Putao, Mr. Wang anxiously told him that he had to hurry home to cook. Otherwise, when Wang Putao returned, they wouldn't have a meal. Hearing the old man's words, Feng Tianlan couldn't help but shed tears and quietly took the old man away from the hospital. Just as they got into the car, Teacher Wu called Feng Tianlan. After some persuasion, Feng Tianlan managed to convince Teacher Wu to let him take Mr. Wang out for one night, promising to bring him back safe and sound the next day. Feng Tianlan took Mr. Wang home, where he saw a picture of Wang Putao's late mother and paid his respects. There were also many photos of Wang Putao as a child in Mr. Wang's home, which allowed him to truly experience Wang Putao's childhood life. Seeing that the food in the refrigerator was moldy, Mr. Wang was worried that his daughter wouldn't be able to eat the braised pork he made when she came back, so he became very anxious. Feng Tianlan ordered takeout and had it delivered. When Mr. Wang finished cooking the braised pork, Feng Tianlan took a photo and sent it to Wang Putao, urging her to come back quickly.
