Synopsis

Lu Nanyi, the daughter of a wealthy merchant in the capital, and Lin Qingqiu, the son of a prestigious noble family, promised each other a lifetime of love as childhood sweethearts. However, they were forced apart by a letter of separation. Three years later, they meet again. Lin Qingqiu has topped the imperial examinations and become the prefect of Jinzhou, while Lu Nanyi has become a celebrated writer.
