Chu Lingling was aggressive, insisting that Zhu Jinhao and Xiao Jia apologize. Seeing the situation turn unfavorable, Shen Jinchuan warned the overweight woman, suspecting that she might have accidentally misplaced the ring herself. He wanted to act as a peacemaker, but Zhu Jinhao firmly denied any wrongdoing and refused to be framed, insisting on involving the police. Frustrated, the overweight woman started causing a scene. Unexpectedly, Lin Qingyi suddenly appeared, presenting a video as evidence that showed the overweight woman setting up the situation to frame others. He demanded an apology from her and a written promise. Realizing she had no choice, Chu Lingling reluctantly apologized. Zhu Jinhao stepped forward and pushed Chu Lingling down, avenging the slight push from earlier. Afterward, she left with Lin Qingyi and Xiao Jia.
Zhu Jinhao speculated that, given the recent incident, Chu Lingling wouldn't end things so easily, so she brought out a trick of her own. Lin Qingyi was dressed formally today, and Xiao Jia smartly left, leaving Zhu Jinhao alone with Lin Qingyi. Shen Jinchuan came to find Zhu Jinhao, but he arrived a moment too late – Zhu Jinhao had already disappeared.
Lin Qingyi took Zhu Jinhao to eat an expensive steak, costing hundreds of yuan per serving. Zhu Jinhao was pained by the price but enjoyed the delicious steak nonetheless. She brought out the wine she had brought along and drank one glass after another until she couldn't handle it anymore. Lin Qingyi accompanied the tipsy Zhu Jinhao back home, and they laughed and chatted all the way. Finally, Lin Qingyi carried Zhu Jinhao on his back into the house. While Zhu Jinhao was showering, she accidentally twisted her foot. Lin Qingyi quickly covered his eyes, intending to help her out of the shower. However, Zhu Jinhao pulled down Lin Qingyi's tie and took the initiative to kiss him.
