Lin Qingyi knew that Zhu Jinhao intended to regain her memory. Worried that she might leave him, he felt downcast and decided to drink alone. When Zhu Jinhao saw this, she came to keep him company. Concerned about her limited alcohol tolerance, Lin Qingyi offered her a non-alcoholic beverage. As Lin Qingyi drank more, he became more talkative and reminisced about his childhood when he grew up with his grandfather. He mentioned a year when there was a severe typhoon, and the harvest was poor, so he allowed his grandfather to waive the rent. Zhu Jinhao thought Lin Qingyi had done a great job and rewarded him with a kiss. Lin Qingyi, seeing Zhu Jinhao like this, couldn't help but hold her tightly.
One day, Zhu Anran barged into the coffee shop and asked Lin Qingyi about the conditions for him to move out. Zhu Anran had initially assumed that the coffee shop was rented, but when she found out that Lin Qingyi was actually the owner of 80% of the properties on the island, she couldn't hide her excitement. However, Zhu Anran's arrogant attitude didn't get her the desired results, as Lin Qingyi bluntly kicked her out of the coffee shop.
Zhu Jinhao had been watching the scene with interest, which prompted Lin Qingyi to playfully approach her. He went behind the bar, got close to Zhu Jinhao, and asked her what she was looking at. Zhu Jinhao wasn't used to this kind of intimacy and quickly turned around, pretending to be busy with work to avoid Lin Qingyi's gaze. Lin Qingyi realized that Zhu Jinhao was avoiding him and couldn't help but smile, joining in to help with the cleanup. Zhu Anran had someone secretly take photos of Zhu Jinhao and saw intimate pictures of her and Lin Qingyi, thinking that Zhu Jinhao had truly benefited from her misfortune.
