In order to save Zhu Jinhao, Lin Qingyi signed the contract given by Zhu Anran and intentionally tossed it to the other side. When he saw Zhu Anran go to pick up the contract, he quickly shielded Zhu Jinhao. Shen Jinchuan and Xiao Jia arrived and subdued Zhu Anran, who was soon taken away by the police.
Zhu Jinhao wanted to preserve a part of Aman Island, but it meant needing more money, which the group currently lacked. Shen Jinchuan understood Zhu Jinhao's dilemma and approached her, offering to use his own money to convince her to marry him. However, Zhu Jinhao bluntly told him to get lost.
Feeling frustrated, Zhu Jinhao went to Lin Qingyi's house to have a drink. When Lin Qingyi saw her in this state, he couldn't help but remark that she was the ingrate he had rescued. He held Zhu Jinhao and intended for her to get a good night's sleep but was surprised when Zhu Jinhao actively climbed onto his neck, wanting him to stay. Worried that Zhu Jinhao didn't know what she was doing, Lin Qingyi asked her who he was. When Zhu Jinhao recognized him as Lin Qingyi, he decided to respond to her affection, making it impossible for her to leave. The next day, Lin Qingyi found that Zhu Jinhao had already left, feeling somewhat disheartened. But when he saw the note left by Zhu Jinhao, he quickly rushed out. Zhu Jinhao and Shen Jinchuan were choosing wedding attire. When Xiao Jia saw this, she couldn't help but feel anxious. She tried calling Lin Qingyi but got no answer, which made her even more worried. Lin Qingyi learned that Zhu Jinhao was willing to sacrifice herself to save Aman Island, so he took her away from the wedding scene and asked her to become his wife. Since Lin Qingyi was a wealthy man himself, Aman Island wouldn't be at risk due to a lack of funds.
