Xiao Jia and Zhu Jinhao looked at Lin Qingyi with anticipation, but he didn't budge, continuing with his morning routine. Seeing this, Xiao Jia reluctantly offered to deduct the cost from her next month's salary, to which Lin Qingyi agreed. However, Zhu Jinhao had just arrived and didn't even have a salary yet. Xiao Jia had to reluctantly say that she would take responsibility for the expense.

After changing into his clothes, Lin Qingyi took Xiao Jia and Zhu Jinhao to choose formal attire. Xiao Jia was dazzled by the variety of clothes in the store and couldn't contain her excitement. Zhu Jinhao also liked the clothes but couldn't decide which one to pick. Xiao Jia preferred more extravagant outfits and selected a white and a black dress, hoping to pair up with Zhu Jinhao for the event on Oman Island. Lin Qingyi thought those outfits were too extravagant, so he chose one for Zhu Jinhao. Xiao Jia wanted Lin Qingyi to help her choose as well, but he was in no mood for it and told the store attendant to assist her directly.

When Zhu Jinhao couldn't zip up the dress in the fitting room, she quickly called for Xiao Jia's help. However, Xiao Jia was trying on clothes in the neighboring stall and didn't hear her. Seeing this, Lin Qingyi offered his assistance, but Zhu Jinhao felt shy about having a guy help her, so she asked Lin Qingyi to close his eyes. Lin Qingyi couldn't see and accidentally brushed against Zhu Jinhao, causing ripples in his heart. Chu Lingling went to the store to shop, but her card was frozen and she couldn't pay. She asked Shen Jinchuan for help and invited him to her birthday celebration.
