Shen An'an accompanied Chen Shanhai for a test drive, but she was distracted and unresponsive the whole time. Chen Shanhai decided to sign the contract and expressed his intention to buy the sports car today. Shen An'an wanted to give him some advice, but Chen Shanhai insisted on purchasing both classic car models. After signing the contract, Chen Shanhai suggested having dinner together. While Shen An'an was at work, Shi Yue went to Shen An'an's house to find Shen's mother. Shen's mother was angry with Shi Yue for her actions and didn't want to talk to her. Shi Yue mentioned that what she wanted to talk about was related to Xinyi, so Shen's mother reluctantly let her into the house. Shi Yue asked when they were going to divorce, stating that Shen An'an had been clinging to Ren Yiming, and it was time to discuss the divorce. Shi Yue touched her belly and said she didn't want any trouble for her unborn brother or sister.
Lin Yao noticed that Shen An'an seemed troubled and took her to a bridge to let her relax and get some fresh air. Shen An'an confided in Lin Yao about her unhappiness upon seeing Ren Yiming with Shi Yue. She wasn't happy herself; she just didn't want Xinyi to lose her admired father. Lin Yao tried to comfort Shen An'an, and she listened to his words, regaining her composure.
The next morning, Shen An'an arrived at the company in high spirits. She handed over a list of potential car buyers to Lin Yao. Unexpectedly, Lin Yao suddenly had a stomachache. Shen An'an gave him the breakfast Ren Fei brought for her, and Lin Yao praised her cooking. Shen An'an couldn't help but say she could bring him breakfast every day, and Lin Yao quickly agreed. Shen An'an was initially worried that he might get tired of it, but he was very enthusiastic about the idea.
Colleagues discussed how Chen Shanhai had been going to the car dealership frequently, willing to pay extra to buy a car. Every time he returned, he had a radiant smile and asked his colleagues how to pursue a gentle and cooking-loving woman. When Ren Yiming heard about it, he sensed something was wrong and immediately called Ren Fei to ask if Chen Shanhai often visited their store to look at cars. After confirming his suspicion, Ren Yiming rushed to Shen An'an's car dealership. He warned her that Chen Shanhai was a womanizer and believed he had ulterior motives for frequently visiting the dealership when they were having issues.
Shen An'an insisted that Chen Shanhai was her client, and she had an obligation to promote cars to him. Shen An'an found it strange that Ren Yiming was the one who betrayed her first, and now he was concerned about her. Ren Yiming admitted his mistake and promised to do everything to regain Shen An'an's love. Lin Yao saw Ren Yiming bothering Shen An'an and stepped in to resolve the situation, telling Ren Yiming not to disturb her at work. Ren Yiming had no choice but to give up.
In the evening, Ren Fei and Wen Hao had dinner together at Shen An'an's house. Seeing how adorable Xinyi was, they couldn't help but want a child of their own. After dinner, Shen's mother called Shen An'an aside and believed that she should have given Ren Yiming a chance initially, or else Shi Yue wouldn't have become pregnant. At night, Shi Yue prepared dinner and wine at home, waiting for Ren Yiming to return. When Ren Yiming arrived, he said he needed to take a shower first, but Shi Yue started causing trouble and insisted that he eat first. Ren Yiming couldn't help but argue with Shi Yue. He felt that the current Shi Yue was unfamiliar and not the kind and sensible person she used to be. After taking a shower, Shi Yue asked Ren Yiming when he planned to divorce Shen An'an. She revealed that she was already pregnant, and if he dared to leave her, she would forever cling to both of them. Ren Yiming looked at Shi Yue's madness and believed she would do as she said, feeling extremely afraid. Wen Hao confessed to Ren Fei that he was very grateful for her constant reminders; otherwise, he might have made mistakes like Ren Yiming.
At night, Shi Yue went to get water and saw a reminder on Ren Yiming's phone about Xinyi's school activity. The next day, she tried to delay Ren Yiming, but he lied that he had a meeting with a client in the afternoon. Shi Yue realized he was deceiving her and let him go. When it was time for the activity, Shi Yue deliberately sent a video of herself attempting suicide to Ren Yiming and Shen An'an. Worried about Shi Yue's safety, Shen An'an asked Ren Yiming to go and check on her.
