Gao Defen is a hardworking person who lives in a small and cheap apartment, eats cheap boxed meals, and works overtime day and night to make a name for himself in the workplace. His team has just launched a new product called the tag phone, which boasts a remote control location function and is touted as a phone that can never be lost. However, Minister Yu was skeptical and challenged Gao Defen's team to a test. He gave the phone to Li Tianran to evaluate for a week, along with a report of the results.

Li Tianran was thrilled to be given such an important task, not realizing that Minister Yu was using his absent-mindedness, forgetfulness, and incompetence to their advantage. Gao Defen was worried about the safety of the new phone, so he followed Li Tianran closely to protect it. However, Li Tianran lost the phone several times, only to have it miraculously appear at his doorstep each time. He was amazed and wondered if he had some kind of superpower that allowed him to control lost items with his mind. To test this theory, he even threw the phone into a river, buried it in the ground, hung it in a tree, and even mailed it to Africa.
