Li Tianran despises gamers who spend money on in-game purchases. He claims that no game can take a single penny from him, even if he is terrible at it. However, Gao Defen's new holographic assistant glasses, Gao Fa Legend, changed Li Tianran's mind. With the glasses, he was able to avoid Minister Yu's anger and impress a new client, ultimately securing a contract. Li Tianran became addicted to the glasses and started developing new features, spending all his money on in-game purchases. Unfortunately, everyone else started using Gao Fa Legend, and Li Tianran found himself in a vicious cycle of spending to maintain his advantage in the workplace. Vice President Zheng blamed Li Tianran when an important client's account was mishandled, and Li Tianran was bombarded with powerful cards that he couldn't defend against, ultimately leading to his bank account being emptied. He thought he was only spending virtual Gao Fa coins, but the system was directly linked to his salary card.
